This is second in series of ‘story in a box’. This is a story of a squirrel and lord ram. When lord ram was travelling to Lanka, the army of monkeys was helping him build a bridge on water. There was one small squirrel who also wanted to help the monkeys but looking at the size of the squirrel the monkeys said ‘what can you do with your small size, we are putting big boulders’. Hearing this lord Ram intervened and he said, ‘no contribution is small, it is the small pebbles collected by the squirrel which helped bind the gaps between the large boulders’. Lord Ram was very impressed with the squirrel and struck his hand to create three stripes on the back of the squirrel.
